Store Master is a mature retail product for managing multi-branch retail stores and warehouses.
It manages all aspects of stock control, debtors, creditors, ordering and multiple point of sale processes.

my role
I was the original architect and designer of the product which was developed and marketed by my company. After acheiving broad adoption in the African market I sold the software to a large support house. I am still involved with some aspects of the on going development as an advisor and lead programmer.
technology
The application is written in c++ and runs in a Windows environment and uses a broad range of peripheral equipment, MS SQL is used as a primary data storage solution.
current status
The software has been in on going usage in Southern Africa for over 25 years, new versions and features are still released on a regular schedule.
Several hundred retail stores use the software each day to run all aspects of their business at store, head office and warehouse level.
